Privacy Policy

This page explains what happens to the information you send through this website, in plain language.

Last reviewed: August 2026

Who this covers

This policy applies to drankushsharma.com, the website of NeuroAxis Clinic, the neurology practice of Dr. Ankush Sharma in Jammu. It covers information sent through this website only. Records created during a consultation at an OPD are clinical records and are handled under the clinic’s own record-keeping practices, not this policy.

What the website collects

The website collects information in one situation only: when you choose to send it. There is no account system, and you are not asked to register.

  • Appointment requests. The name, mobile number, and optionally the email address, preferred OPD, preferred date and time, reason for consultation and message that you type into the appointment form.
  • WhatsApp enquiries. If you use the WhatsApp button, the details you enter are placed into a WhatsApp message. Nothing is sent until you press send inside WhatsApp, and the conversation is then governed by WhatsApp’s own privacy terms.
  • A technical record of the submission. When an appointment request is stored, a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address is saved alongside it. This is used only to limit automated abuse of the form. The address itself is not stored and the hash cannot be reversed to identify you.

What it does not collect

  • No advertising or tracking cookies are set by this website.
  • You are not asked for medical records, ID documents or payment details online.
  • Nothing you type is sold, rented or shared for marketing.

Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers to fetch them. That request is handled under Google’s own privacy terms.

Why the information is used

Solely to respond to you: to call or message you back, arrange a suitable consultation slot, and answer what you asked. It is not used for marketing, and you will not be added to any mailing list by submitting the form.

Who can see it

Appointment requests are visible to Dr. Ankush Sharma and to clinic staff who handle appointments. They are stored on the website’s hosting account, protected by password-based access. They are not shared with any third party except where disclosure is required by law.

How long it is kept

Appointment requests are kept only as long as they are useful for arranging and following up your appointment, and are deleted periodically after that. You can ask for your request to be deleted sooner — see below.

Please do not send sensitive records through this website

The appointment form is for arranging a consultation, not for transmitting medical records. Please do not attach or paste detailed reports, scan findings or identity documents into it. Bring them to the consultation instead.

Your choices

You can ask what has been stored about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to drankushsharma@gmail.com or call the clinic on +91 91861 34966, and say clearly what you are asking for.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, submissions are validated on the server as well as in the browser, and administrative access is protected by hashed passwords, session timeouts and lockout after repeated failed sign-in attempts. No system is perfectly secure, and this is stated as a description of the measures taken rather than a guarantee.

Links to other websites

This website links to Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Google Maps. Once you follow such a link you are on someone else’s service, under their privacy terms, not this one.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will appear on this page with a new review date at the top.
